Tregonning Project update and a new community meeting

The Tregonning project can be thought of as having three main parts:
the Solar Farm, the associated Battery Storage Facility, and the cable that links these two elements together.

A few weeks ago, we held a well‑attended community meeting in St Newlyn East, the parish where the Tregonning Solar Farm is located. As plans have continued to progress, we’re now able to share more information about the Battery Storage Facility and provide early details of the proposed cable route, which will pass through Indian Queens.

To share this information and answer questions, we are holding a further community meeting:

Residents living closest to the proposed cable route will receive an invitation by letter. We are also advertising the event in The Cornish Guardian and have asked local Facebook groups to help share the details more widely.
