Essential Infrastructure Installation – Times of Operation

The high-voltage infrastructure installation works on the A39 from the New Inn pub to the junction between the A39 and Timsbury Road are well underway now and we thank you for your patience as we carry out this essential work. 

The local authority have asked, in the interests of safety and to minimise traffic disruption, that on our approach to and across the A39/Top Lane Junction, our contractors extend working hours to include 3 nights from Monday March 25^th until Thursday March 28^th, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00.

Our schedule is now as follows:

1. Along the A39 from the New Inn Pub, to the Junction between A39 and Timsbury Road. These works are scheduled to take place from March 11^th to March 27^th. Night working 7pm to 6am March 25^th to March 28^th at the A39/Top Lane Intersection. Weekend working from March 23^rd to March 24^th between 09:00 to 18:00 on Saturday, 10:00 to 18:00 on Sunday.
2. Closure of Timsbury Road between A39/Timsbury Road Junction, and Timsbury Road/Priston Lane Junction. These works are scheduled to take place from April 1st to April 27^th.
3. Closure of Priston Lane between Timsbury Road Junction to entrance of Castle Farm. These works are scheduled to take place from April 22nd^th to June 7^th.
4. Along Priston Lane between the Timsbury Road Junction up to Castle Farm under temporary signals. These works are scheduled to take place from July 8^th – August 7^th.
