Site preparation works now in progress

Site preparation is now underway, starting with the setup of the site compound and internal roads. The compound will house our site office and welfare units, and it’s also where traffic management will be based. They’ll stay in radio contact with our offsite vehicle reception and holding area at the layby next to The Hardwick on the B4598.

This phase of work involves the delivery of a significant amount of stone, so you can expect to see around 20–30 lorries accessing the site each day during this period.

We’ve briefed all our hauliers on the standards we expect – to drive responsibly, be courteous, and give way to local traffic wherever possible.
