Accessibility and Communication
The grievance mechanism will be communicated to ensure all stakeholders are aware of it. Information will be shared via:
- The company website
- Local community meetings
- Information boards at the project site
All community members, including vulnerable or marginalized groups, can freely access this mechanism without fear of retaliation.
Who Can Submit a Grievance
Any person, group, or organization affected by European Energy UKor its contractors may submit a grievance or concern related to project activities or impacts.
How to Submit a Grievance
Grievances can be submitted anonymously or directly through any of the following channels:
- In person: Visit the Project Site office
- Online: Each of the European Energy UK Project sites has a feedback form which can also be found here

- Written submission: Send to European Energy UK Ltd. 4th Floor, Afton House, 26 West Nile Street, Glasgow G1 2PF
Assistance will be provided to individuals who may have difficulty submitting their grievance in writing.

Grievance Log
All grievances reported directly to European Energy via one of the channels above will be recorded in a Grievance Log. The log will include:
- Reference number
- Date received
- Name and contact (if provided)
- Nature of the complaint
- Responsible division
- Status (Pending / In progress / Resolved)
- Date resolved and corrective action taken
Confidentiality
All grievances are treated confidentially. The identity of complainants will only be shared with those directly responsible for investigating or resolving the issue, and only when necessary.
Continuous Improvement
The grievance mechanism will be reviewed regularly to ensure its effectiveness, accessibility, and responsiveness. Feedback from stakeholders will be used to make improvements.
